(St. John’s, NL, February 18) St. John’s agency expands IT department
We might well remember the good old bad old days of typewriters and paste-up art, but that doesn’t mean we don’t move with the times. Which is why we recently expanded our IT team by hiring web guru Matt Tucker as Internet Marketing Account Manager.
Matt, who originally trained in graphic design, was running his own web, graphic and multimedia design company at the time Target lured him away. A lot of his work involved managing website development and branding projects for clients including The Nunatsiavut Government, Academy Canada, Husky Energy, and the Department of Environment and Conservation.
The Internet is increasingly topping clients’ lists as their number one priority, which is why it’s so important to have account managers with great business knowledge, but also, creative sensibility. Matt’s background in design, film and photography combined with his business and IT experience, make him a perfect addition to Target – an internationally competitive agency located in the most creative city in North America.
Welcome aboard, Matt!
